Moorings at Newbury
We have two mooring locations in Newbury.

Greenham Island. Our original location,
opened in 1973 has a mixture of cruiser and narrowboat berths. Here
there is water, rubbish disposal, toilet, Elsan disposal, and
electricity by means of 20p meters.
It is here, on the main line of the Kennet and Avon Canal, that
Services are provided for passing craft and our own customers.
These facilities include Diesel, Calor Gas, Coal, Pumpout and a
small shop with essential chandlery and souvenirs. Shop telephone
for Greenham Canal Services is 01635 31672.

Ham Manor Marina. This offline basin was
opened in 1993 and has moorings for 60+ boats. The facilities on
site include Calor Gas, toilets, Elsan disposal, rubbish disposal
and electrical points.
Both locations have car parking and we consider the
moorings to be secure with a resident staff, security lighting with
sensors which enable moorers to safely gain access to their boats
after dark.
